At the outset, I want to thank you for your kind consideration that we move the Health Laws (Amendment) Bill. As a Committee, we were ready even before we went for recess. I want to thank the team of the Departmental Committee on Health, led by our senior, Hon. (Dr.) Nyikal. I am one of the lucky Chairs who have Members who are very committed and passionate on the issues that we discuss in the Committee."
