    "content": "Currently, the pharmaceutical technologists are about 10,000, but less than 1,000 are employed formally in the system. So, there is a big challenge. We have many hospitals around and less than 1,000 pharmaceutical technologists are employed. This is something that both the national and county governments need to look at with a view to increasing their numbers in the hospitals. Nurses in this country are multi-tasking. They are working as nurses, clinical officers and they also dispense drugs. So, it is the right time to ensure that this is in our laws, so that pharmaceutical technologists and pharmacists can do the work for which they studied."
