    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker Sir, for your indulgence. I support this Petition because the Petitioners had approached me and I advised them to bring it to the Senate. I agree that there is a problem because this also affects part of my County. We share a common border. This project will cost Kshs5.1 billion and more than Kshs4 billion should be paid in compensation. I agree with most of my Senate colleagues.The law is very clear and it states that when you are doing compulsory acquisition of land, the payments should be prompt.
