"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I have two things to say. First, I was very careful when I was drafting this Statement to ensure I do not attack a certain court. I did not mention a certain judge or decision. That is the reason I came up with this Statement to fight the jurisprudence. By the way, that jurisprudence is not only negative in terms of those of us who are moralists but it is also negative to us the politicians. It is a jurisprudence because you find a judge who is not elected sitting there alone and making laws. That is legislating while seated at the bench. Do you get the point? You may say that the so-called gays have rights but that is an issue that should be brought to us parliamentarians. What I am fighting against is the idea of one person sitting somewhere and making decisions that impact on our work. I am just giving an example. Finally, this Statement was approved by your Office, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Your office was categorical. They edited to ensure that I did not bring issues which may impact negatively on the Judiciary."
