"content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I do not support such practices. As a Christian, even without citing the Holy Bible or the Quran, I wish to read part of the preamble of the Constitution which states that- “We, the people of Kenya– ACKNOWLEDGING the supremacy of the Almighty God of all creation”. I do not need to explain that. Those who want us to go to Theology will be in trouble because the attributes of God are very clear. We are told that we were created in the image of God and that God is perfect and He is the truth. Other things which have arisen because of human misconduct have no relevance in creation. These are some of the western practices and traits. Therefore, we do not support as a family; men and women here--- That topic ought not to have been brought here. It should be struck out on its face."
