"content": "long list of students who are already working in this particular town and are self- employed. Something else that always discourages these youths from pursuing their studies after being trained is poverty and lack of facilities because they do not have anything to start with when they come out of these institutions. I have seen some of us do what we call youth empowerment where we want to talk to the youths and at the end of the talk, we give them some money. The best way to approach youth empowerment programme is that the county government should organise for these youths to form groups and register companies which will be equipped with facilities to help them go and work. This could be done during their graduation. I told them the same when we were at Mugundoi Vocational Training Centre. The Motion on promotion of vocational training is very important to us. Unless we do something about it, I usually say that the people who will send us home in 2022 are the youths who are not employed, trained or skilled. Therefore, to save our jobs in 2022, let us make sure that we reduce the roadblocks that are hindering these youths from getting this training. I asked some institutions in my county to train some youths in order for them to understand how to do things, then just let them to go. That is what we should encourage. Vocational training centres are the way for us to go and it is the surest way of saving our country from unemployment, a lot of crime rate and the rest. I beg to second."
