    "content": "In the former Central Province, the coffee we are producing is only 15 per cent of what we used to produce in the 1970s. Coffee used to be the major foreign exchange earner, but not anymore. Something needs to be done in this country. This is an agricultural country. God gave us good soils, enough rain and sunshine all the year round. You can grow any fruits and vegetables four times a year. Therefore, this is an important thing for the country. Unfortunately, we do not have the answers, but we used to have. We had the expertise. This issue points to a very serious and deeper problem, which we must solve if Kenya has to start walking the path of development. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank you."
