    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, it depends on which school you attended. The most important thing here is the contamination of Isiukhu River. The company is using the river to do leaching which is poisonous. It is killing our animals and people downstream. This Petition is not limited to Nandi County. On the issue of communities benefitting from mining companies, the Mining Act is very clear on the issues of Community Development Agreement (CDA). Why are we ignoring that aspect of CDA? Our county governments have the mandate for licensing. Before they license any company, I urge them to make sure that we have an elaborate CDA. It is sad that the poorest village in Kakamega County is the one that has gold. The poorest constituency by 2013 was Ikolomani, yet it has more gold than Nandi County"
