    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. This is a poorly drafted Bill and it cannot stand as it is. I say so because petroleum is a very dangerous finding for any country. If we do not get it right from the word go, we will destroy our country. I would encourage your office that for a Bill such as this, this House should have conducted a retreat for all Senators for a day or two. We would go through it painstakingly, clause by clause, look at comparable jurisdictions and experiences and give this country a good law. Listening to my distinguished colleague from Nyeri telling this House that they picked from the best example, Nigeria, then you know that there is something very wrong."
