    "content": "I have heard of a figure of Kshs2.55 trillion in the statement from the national Treasury. There was also a figure of Kshs2.629 trillion in the Gazette Notice in July and we are talking about reducing the budget from Kshs3 trillion to Kshs2.971 trillion. We do not seem to know what the budget for 2018/2019 is in actual terms. There are many figures that are not factual being thrown around. This begs the question whether the national Treasury is on top of the game. Do we even know the exact figure of the 2018/2019 Budget for our country? Who should know this? Have we slept on our job as parliamentarians or should we be involved in the process?"
