In the absence of a balanced Budget, where we are able to finance all our operations in the Government through taxation, it is important to ensure that we are committed, with our development partners, to finance our fiscal deficit, not just through this Budget, but also future budgets and create confidence in our economy. For any foreign investor to come and invest in this country, we must demonstrate that, indeed, we are a disciplined country in our fiscal management."
