    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise to support the Statement by Sen. Sakaja on the inquiry into what exactly is happening in our hospitals. I would like to invite the Committee on Health to look into this issue of health because it is a devolved function. I know it has been said, and I also read in the newspapers that the Governor paid an impromptu visit. However, the question I wanted to ask – and which is something that this House should be looking into – since this is a devolved function, what is the best way to solve the problems in these hospitals? The issue of Pumwani Maternity Hospital did not start when Governor Sonko took office; it has always been there. It is in the public domain that Pumwani Maternity Hospital has never had a morgue. I think that we sometimes mix up things here because health is devolved. I would have expected that the first person to be suspended by Governor Sonko would have been his County Executive Committee Member (CEC) in charge of Health because if---"
