    "content": "(Mr. Kamama): Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, first of all, on behalf of the Government, I want to really thank the Chairmen of these Departmental Committees for a job well done, together with their respective Members. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I also wish to say that we have taken into account all the contributions from hon. Members who have just spoken. I want to confirm that we are taking those contributions very seriously. I am happy that so many recommendations have been given by hon. Mututho, my former colleagues in Provincial Administration, hon. Letimalo and hon. ole Lankas and Dr Nuh. I think we have taken note of what they have said and we confirm that we will implement everything to the letter. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we all know that North Eastern Province has been given many brands. When we were young officers, I joined the Provincial Administration as a District Officer Cadet in 1992 and was posted to Garissa. At that time, the Deputy Speaker, who is on the Chair, was actually vocal on the same issues. The people of North Eastern Province, including Garissa, Dadaab and other places have faced a lot of problems but I am happy that since the NARC Government came into power, a lot of things are being done in that area but a lot of challenges still exist."
