I have no doubt that he will add some value to the performance of the Parliamentary Service Commission, which is a very key Commission. We cannot over-emphasise the need for the Parliamentary Service Commission to look at how to make the work of Senators effective in terms of doing oversight. I think this should be the first agenda for the Commissioners we have because, year in year out, Senators have raised these issues. You will remember that the rules that were prepared by this House were shot down by the National Assembly. Now that we have people with experience of Hon. Chepkong’a’s stature, I hope this matter will be given the attention that it deserves and that this Senate will receive the support that it should receive from the Parliamentary Service Commission. With those few remarks, Madam Temporary Speaker, I beg to support."
