    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, this is a very thorny issue. I hail the petitioner for the salient issues that he has raised in his Petition; that opening flood gates for imported duty free sugar is actually what has contributed to our dying sugar industry. I agree with the prayers that he has made. We recommend to the Executive to establish a taskforce that will look into this matter in totality, so that all the salient issues can be addressed to ensure that this does not recur, where we open floodgates for cartels to import sugar at the expense of the sugar cane farmers and the local sugar factories."
