    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, even if we were to talk about the issues touching on the freedom of the press, we still have challenges in this region. Just the other day, I saw a journalist from Kenya Television Network (KTN) Ms. Sophia Wanuna being roughed up at the airport when she was covering the story of Miguna Miguna who was being deported. This is a young, helpless girl being brutalised by members of the military force in the full view of local and international press. If we do not put those issues in a report like this one, how will we have issues of checks and balances against the leadership in these regions? These are issues we should bring forth to the Senate for debate."
