    "content": "Hon. Members, let me now turn my focus to the experience of the Parliament of Kenya on rescission of House decisions. The practice in Kenya mirrors that of the House of Commons of the UK and the Congress of the USA to the extent that there exists a restriction on reconsideration of decisions taken by the House ‘during the preceding six months in the same session’. Nonetheless, Standing Order 49(2)(a) provides the House with a window to review its decision with immediacy, with the exclusion of decisions made on special Motions."
