    "content": "The Speaker referred the notification for nomination of the chairperson and members of the SRC to the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning to undertake the necessary approval hearings. The Clerk of the National Assembly requested for memoranda from the public on the suitability or otherwise of the nominees and, by close of deadline for submission, three memoranda had been submitted. Two of them were in support of Ms. Halima Abdille Mohammed and one was against the nomination of Nelly Peris Achubwe."
