    "content": "I wish to propose a further amendment in subsection (i) by replacing the word “may” with “shall”, so that it will read: “The Central Bank shall prescribe, in regulations, conditions on deposits or withdrawals by customers in banks and financial institutions.” In subsection (ii), I wish to delete the whole of it and replace it with the following: The Central Bank shall, within 30 days of coming into force of this Act, prescribe regulations setting out conditions for deposit and withdrawals by customers in banks and financial institutions in accordance with the Statutory Instruments Act. This will ensure that it must come to this House for avoidance of doubt. That is a further amendment that I have moved."
