    "content": "The background of this matter is that Mwea Settlement Scheme is located in Makima Location, Mbeere South Constituency, Mbeere South Sub-County, Embu County. It was part of the larger Mwea Trust Land which comprised of Mwea Game Reserve and Karaba, Washoro, Makima and Riakanau adjudication sections. It was established on LR No. 26461, and FR No. 317/3. It measures approximately 17,830.6 hectares. The survey work was undertaken in 2016 by the County Government of Embu in conjunction with the National Land Commission (NLC). The scheme was surveyed into 7,232 plots. Out of the resultant 7,232 title deeds, 6,292 title deeds have been issued to the beneficiaries. The balances of 940 title deeds are at Siakago Land Registry."
