Speaker, the Select Committee is established under Standing Order No.210 and it is required to scrutinise and certify that all regulations brought before this House are in line with the Constitution and/or Acts of Parliament and also to ensure it does not contravene any of the other laws of Kenya. I would like the Leader of the Majority Party to pay attention because he told me that my Committee has been annulling all Government regulations. I want him to pay attention so that he hears the reasons."
