"content": " Hon. Deputy Speaker, thank you for giving me a chance to make remarks on this Petition. I appreciate that the matter that has been petitioned this morning is very serious to the local communities that are affected. The efforts that have been made to address this matter have been fruitless. The NEMA has seen this country undergo a lot of costly consequences upon approval of most of the projects to be implemented. As this matter is being discussed by the respective Committee, I recommend that NEMA should also be seriously interrogated to find out why it takes too long to respond to some of the consequences that follow after the approval of specific projects. I support the Petition. Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker."
