    "content": "On tax waivers on sugar, the Report of the Committee has indicated that we lost almost Kshs30 billion. It is high time we review some of the waivers that are currently in place. The Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning needs to look at that. If there are any existing waivers, we should not wait until something happens. If there are any existing waivers, the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning needs to summon the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and advise him. It is prudent for the Committee to do that."
