"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, the other area of concern that we as legislators and Kenyans shared during this forum with our European counterparts is that of wildlife trafficking and trafficking in endangered species. Added to that is the area of tourism, where the Europeans found out that you cannot compare Kenya and Dubai. When you go to Dubai, you find brick walls and glasses made by human hands while in Kenya, as you go to the Maasai Mara, Amboseli and the Kenyan Coast, you will see nature in its pristine shape. What we offer is much better than what humans create out there. One of the major concerns for us as Kenyans and others within the international community is how to protect our environment and wildlife. Also, how do we lessen the human/wildlife conflict? That is one of the reasons why our people are trying to destroy the habitat of the natural species. It is one of those things that this country can showcase when we talk of the wildebeest migration being the eighth wonder of the world and many will agree with us."
