There are three things we must take into account as we talk about the issue of environment and natural resources and particularly forest resource management and logging activities in Kenya. As we experience serious population growth coupled with the depletion of natural resources, we must be prepared, as the leadership of this country at this stage, to seriously think out of the box and think of prudent and efficient environmental management practices that will not only add value to the current generation, but will also protect the resources that the next generation and future generations will require."
