    "content": " Thank you Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady for finally spotting me. I was worried that maybe the equipment is spoilt. That is why I moved to the next one. It is problematic getting to the intervention button on my side. We need to address that. The issue that has made me stand is to say that when we are in the Committee of the whole House or Third Reading, this is the most important part of law making. Basically, Members would have read the Bills in advance, canvassed and discussed them in the Second Reading. In the Third Reading, we reach the point where we make decisions for it to be law. Unfortunately, it is in the Third Reading when Members and committees introduce these amendments. It is important, as we move forward, that all chairs of committees, because I have seen this happen in the past, clearly tell the House the import of the decisions and amendments they bring to the House. There are times amendments might just be passed here, saying that we delete for a reason or another."
