"content": "This is not the time to blame, although I know there are people who are responsible for what has happened. It would be good for this House, if possible, either we have a select committee to look into this matter in detail or our Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing creates time to look at what really happened. At the end of the day, it would be clear to us as a House and to Kenyans in terms of what happened and who was wrong. We have blamed the police who allowed the bus to move at night. We have also blamed the management of the school. It will be good if this matter is looked into in detail so that as Kenyans we are guided on who was on the wrong. As a way forward, nothing can be done by the House to restore the lives of those children. The truth is that they are gone and gone forever. But we can learn important lessons so that as we move into the future, we do not have a repeat of what has happened."
