    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I support the amendment Bill by Sen. Cheruiyot. Indeed, he has come up with good amendments, for example to Section 32 with regard to the deputy governor. The procedures and timelines with regard to the appointment of a deputy governor are indicated very well in the Bill. I would urge the Senator to add another amendment on how to appoint another deputy governor after the previous one resigns. He should also give timelines for it. I am talking about the situation that we currently have in Nairobi City County. There is no clause in this Bill that says how long a governor should take to appoint his or her deputy. Under Section 58 of the principal Act, on the composition of the CPSB, the Member has come up with amendments. Whenever a vacancy arises in the CPSB, the governor shall constitute a selection panel for the purpose of selecting suitable candidates for appointment as members of the CPSB.
