    "content": "Therefore, the peaceful coexistence will depend very much on how we organize ourselves as a Government to ensure that animals are kept where they belong. More importantly, it will ensure that when there is any harm that arises as a result of animal activities, the animal is immediately dealt with by professional people and compensation is done quickly. Madam Temporary Speaker, for example, in Taita Taveta County there are many elephants while in other areas there are many lions. Therefore, there is no harm in relocating animals particularly from an overpopulated area to areas where roads exist so as to ensure that they live peacefully. Therefore, a conducive environment for peaceful existence which this Motion calls for is an issue that must be addressed. The Fourth Schedule, Part I (22) of the Constitution deals with protection of the environment and natural resources including, in particular, protection of animals and wildlife.
