In 1983, the late Darius Mbela introduced Section 13(d) into the Estate Agents Act that completely killed the profession of estate agents in this country. The definition of a “registered pharmacist” refers to a holder of a degree in pharmacy from a training institution recognised by the board. The question that begs for an answer is: Which are these training institutions that give degrees? Degrees come from universities. Why can we not have that clarity?"
