"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the compensation process begins at the district where the incident happened. After that, the Ministry liaises with the Treasury to pay up. That process takes about three months. That is from filling the forms and the sitting of the committee. Every hon. Member in this House is a member of that committee. If you can hasten that process on the ground, then from this end, we can do our bit. In this financial year, we have managed to approve in this House, Kshs200 million for such compensation. So, we have adequate funds to cater for that."
