    "content": "In the last Parliament, I had brought a Bill to amend the Political Parties Act. It touched on the Political Parties Fund to lower the threshold. There was another Bill from the Senate by Hon. Senator Khalwale and we went for mediation. It is very unfortunate that all the benefits we had in that Bill disappeared. We call upon the clerks to take care of the records. At times we make amendments in the Committee of the whole House but when a report comes out, you realise that attention was not paid and things are going differently. That is why we sometimes waste time in recommittal. That is something our committee clerks must take seriously."
