I would like to speak about the context in which a decision was made to constitutionalise the amount of money that is supposed to be given to political parties. Kenya is a growing democracy and we are pushing ourselves to be a party democracy. We are coming from a background of trying to make political parties bigger than the individuals who control them, run or fund them."
