    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, in 1999, the Commissioner for Lands issued a letter of allotment to the Ministry of Education for Ruaraka High School. In the year 2016, 14 years since the surrender was done, Afrison Import Exports Limited wrote to the National Lands Commission (NLC) claiming compensation for the land on which the two schools stood, alleging that the Government was illegally squatting on private land. This was what set in motion the process of compulsory acquisition."
