    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended by deleting the proposed amendment to Section 3 of the Law of Contract Act. The reason is that we have a law before the House called the Government Contracts Act. Secondly, after the Committee tabled their Report, of which they had a number of issues, the Attorney-General, through a letter dated 22nd August 2018 also asked that the section be deleted because it touches on a very fundamental section; it is not a minor amendment that can be put in a miscellaneous law. I consulted with the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs."
