"content": " Yes, and he is my friend. Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I stand to oppose the amendments. It presupposes that it now becomes mandatory for a Kenyan to have a place. The Constitution does not contemplate that you must have a place. It contemplates that you must exist. The details of your existence are clearly shown in the national identification card or your birth certificate. There are other issues like global positioning system coordinates. That means you have one fixed place of abode. What about if you keep on moving? For example, I own a house in Nairobi and a home in my constituency. Where is my global positioning place? This is superfluous."
