Chair, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act – (b) by deleting the words “advocates, notaries, other independent legal professionals and” appearing in the proposed new subsection 8 (a) in section 48. Section 48 now wants to have the advocate, the lotteries, and the accountants to be part of the reporting institutions in the process of reporting what I said earlier. For the same reasons I raised in Section 2, we are proposing that this section be deleted because the argument is the same."
