Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Universities Act, 2012 by – (a) deleting the words “in consultation with the Cabinet Secretary, after a competitive process conducted by the Public Service Commission” appearing immediately after the word “Colleges” in the proposed amendments to section 35 (1) (a)(v) and substituting therefor the words “in the manner provided in the Fourth Schedule”;"
