    "content": "s.2 Delete the words “to which a Charter has been granted Act 2012 under this Act” appearing in the definition of “University’ and substitute therefor the words “establish in accordance with section 13 of this Act”; Delete the words “established” appearing in the definition of “foreign university” and substitute therefor the words “legally established in a country”; Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, all I am doing is cleaning up the Act in terms of the Section 2 by deleting the words “to which a Charter has been granted under this Act” appearing in the definition of “University’ and substitute therefor the words “established in accordance with section 13 of this Act.” If I may read for the Benefit of Members, Section 13 of the Act says: “Every university in Kenya shall be established by a charter or a letter of interim authority in accordance with the Act.” Therefore, it is just to make the two consistent; ensuring that Section 2 is consistent with Section 13 of the Act."
