Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Schedule to the Bill be amended in the proposed amendments to the Kenya Law Reform Commission Act, 2013— (b) by inserting the following new amendments in proper numerical sequence— s.8 (1) Delete paragraph (c) and substitute therefor the following new paragraph— “(c) two person appointed by the Attorney General, of whom one shall be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya nominated by the Law Society of Kenya, and the other an officer in the Office of the Attorney General.” Insert the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph (e)— “(f) a person of the rank professor and who teaches law in a public university, appointed by the Attorney General; (g) a person nominated by the Council of Governors and appointed by the Attorney General.”"
