    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, I rise to congratulate Sen. Ochillo- Ayacko and the Mover for moving this Motion, for this House to allow him to sit in the two Committees. I specifically welcome him to the Committee on National Cohesion, Equal Opportunity and Regional Integration, where I sit. This is a bit significant because at the time Sen. Ochillo-Ayacko was elected and sworn in this House, we were trying to show how much cohesiveness we needed in this country pursuant to the ‗handshake‘ that came into being. It is symbolic that he came in because of the cohesiveness that was sweeping this country, after we had a lot of issues and ‗resisting.‘ He came in at the time when we needed to show unity of purpose as a country. His election gave us an opportunity as a country to show that we are serious in the ‗handshake‘, being together as a nation and that we wanted to move forward together as a nation. At the end of the day, that is why our counterparts did not even field a candidate, and went out to campaign for him. His coming ushered in that cohesiveness.
