    "content": "On 19th October, 2018, the Committee invited the public to give their views on the County Early Childhood Development Education Bill, 2018, by putting an advert in the local dailies and also sending letters to key stakeholders in the ECDE sector. The Committee also invited the public to send written memoranda to the Clerk of Senate on the same Bill. A total of 15 stakeholders, which included both individuals and institutions, gave their submissions. The methods used worked. However, it would have been better to use local language radio FM stations such as Kass, Inooro, Ramogi etcetera to publicize the Bill. This would have enabled more public participation on the Bill."
