I look forward to working with you to make sure that our children, girls and ourselves, as women, access these commodities in a dignified manner. I also hope to count on your support to work on our tax regime, which is very punitive. They are not only punitive on sanitary products, but on many things that people have no control over, starting with sanitary products. We will, therefore, make sure that our taxation is gender sensitive; it is sensitive to vulnerable people and all other people, including Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), as we go forward."
