    "content": "During the second sitting held on Wednesday, 14th July 2018 at the same venue, the Committee anticipated hearing evidence from the Petitioner, Bernard Abuya Momanyi. However, the Petitioner did not appear despite several attempts by the secretariat to get him to appear. Accordingly, the Committee resolved to proceed to consider the Petition without his input. The third sitting held on Thursday, 5th July 2018, the Committee reviewed a Report submitted to the Clerk of the National Assembly by the Parliamentary Security and Safety Department on the scuffle and thereafter proceeded to hear submissions from the Deputy Chief Parliamentary Security and Safety Officer on the matter."
