    "content": "leader in this country. He was also nominated. We even have Members who have served for two and three terms, like Hon. Kamanda and Hon. Cecily Mbarire who are now nominated. I think, therefore, the issue of people demeaning nominated Members is unfair. We are all equal under the Constitution of this country. It is, therefore, necessary to have our women nominated to this House, so that we can achieve the two-thirds gender rule. With those few remarks, I support this Bill. I also encourage my fellow Members both men and women to support this Bill because we want to ensure that Parliament performs its role as provided for under Article 94 of the Constitution of Kenya.
