    "content": " Thanks. I rise to support the Bill that seeks to bring effect Article 81 of the Constitution, which is in Chapter 7 on the representation of the people. It seeks to bring amendments to enforce that not more than two-thirds of the members elected to public bodies shall be of the same gender. To begin with, I would like to start by a quote from Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who said that if you do not have a seat at the table, you probably are on the menu. This Bill is about having both gender at the table where decisions are made. It is not about competition between men and women. It is about complementarity. It is not about conflict. We are only talking of women because it is unfortunate that the current arrangement disadvantages women. Kenya has a high rank and repute in the world in its development, sports, political activity and many things.
