    "content": "On State corporations on the energy sector, we found out that the Auditor-General has been outsourcing for services of audit. It is interesting that as much as the audit companies gave a clean bill of health to these parastatals, later on, some officers were being charged with corruption yet they had a clean bill of health. So, we have recommended to the Auditor-General to carry out the audits himself as opposed to outsourcing. Other case studies are the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO), the Rural Electrification Authority (REA), the Kenya Power Company (KPC) and the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen)."
