Members, it is only fair to remind you that with regard to petitions, the Committee to which a petition is referred to is required to inquire into the matter, report to the petitioner or petitioners, as the case may be, and table a report. The report is not even supposed to be debated. It is important that, that be understood. The House cannot reject the Petition, Hon. Atandi. I am sure you are now better informed. The Petition is committed to the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing to deal with it within the provisions of Standing Order No.227. Let us move to the next Order."
