"content": "The Bill, as it was said, is quite small. The intention is to bring it up to speed with the new Constitution in terms of terminologies and use of correct words where some refer to the old Constitution. Most of the Acts of Parliament use terms like “ministers”, “local authorities” and “provinces”, which are no longer applicable in the new Constitution. I have always been asking myself whether there is a way the legal minds could help us fast-track amendments to the Acts of Parliament which were done before the promulgation of the new Constitution so that they are aligned to it, especially with regard to terminologies."
