    "content": "As I support this Bill, it is important for us to appreciate that SACCO Societies play a very important role in the economic development of our country. This is especially, in enabling our rural population and the workers of Kenya, those in public and private sector, to pool together their savings so that they are able to access affordable financial services. The role of SACCO Societies is appreciated by our blue print Vision 2030. This is in terms of its role in deepening financial access, mobilising of savings and also in enabling investments in enterprises and personal development of Members of various SACCOs."
